The country is bordered by the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (North Korea) to the north, the East Sea (Sea of Japan) to the east, the East China Sea to the south, and the Yellow Sea to the west

  • Official Languages, Recognized and regional languages (Korean Language and English as 20% as it’s not very common)

  • 1st mission was in Dec 2011 during the Christmas Time, and the main purpose of it was getting benefit of the Christmas’ Spirit and Perform in Seoul utilizing the presence of St. Mark Choir Team with the mission
  • In Dec 2012, St. Mark Choir Team has travelled again to South Korea to continue the success happened in the year before
    And starting 2013 we are having around 2 or 3 spiritual missions every year with 2 or 3 servants each, and we had around 3 big missions since then till now
  • We had prepared fun days for the kids during our big mission which contains some activates like Egyptian Food, Face Coloring, Pharaonic Customs and some games like treasure hunter
  • In July-2018 we had Bishop of New York Anba David and Fr. Dawoud Lamie in Seoul and they had some visits to the Christian Churches in South Korea, and also they had around 3 Interviews in TV, Radio and Newspaper
  • Now, there are
    o Church located in (170-33 Donggyo-dong Mapo-gu, Seoul, South Korea)
    o Fr. Philopateer our country’s Priest is being at the country every 2 or 3 months and staying for 1 or 2 months each visit
  • We had around 20 missions since starting the service in the country in 2011
  • Location: We are mainly serving in Seoul, and Fr. Phiopateer sometimes visit the Church’s Congregation in other cities located South of Seoul like ( Daegu, Incheon)
  • Spiritual activities in the country:
    o Liturgies
    o Bible Study
    o Spiritual Meeting
  • The outcome of these spiritual activities is:
    (3) locals baptized in 2019-2020
  • We had a mission in Mar-2018 to present our Coptic Church History in some of the Universities in Seoul
