  • First mission (Exploratory mission 7-16/9/2016)

  • Sixth mission (We have resident now, bought the land & guesthouse) . We purchased 6 acres of land in an area called ” Kpakparkon Town”
  • Seventh mission (1st Holy Liturgy and coordination meetings)
  • Eighth mission (We start talking about Projects)
  • Ninth mission (Summer School program at Kpakparkon town + Replanting + starting Constructions)
  • Tenth mission (Christmas Mission spreading the Christmas spirituality)

  • We had 6 medical missions, with doctors in the following specialties:

  • The outcome of these Medical Missions:
    • 47 successful surgeries
    • 55 eye surgeries
    • 2 Pterygium process
    • 183 Dental case done.
    • 500 CBC
    • 20 local persons had awareness sessions and medical education.
    • 6 locals were trained to make first aids in a proper way.
    • 2 locals were trained to be radiology technician.
    • 2 locals were trained to make CBC’s.
  • Summer Schools in Liberia
    • Our Education Service started with the 1st Summer School mission in Ghanga in July 2017.
    • After that, we had two more Summer School missions:
    – 2nd Summer School: July/ August 2018 – Ghanga
    – 3rd Summer School: July/August 2019 – Marshall
    The 3 Summer School missions had the following education activities:
    – Bible
    – English and Math
    – Personal, Social, and Health Education
    – TOT course to the teachers
  •  The outcome of these missions was as follows:
    – Average of 100 children (6 – 12 Years old) attended the two Summer Schools in Gbanga.
    – 80 children (6 – 12) attended the Summer School in Marshall.
    – 20 Teachers attended the TOT course in Ghanga and Marshall.

 

  • Day Care in Liberia
    • Our Bible Based Day Care in Liberia “Rise and Shine Day Care” was established at the end of January, 2020
    • It started with:
    – One Class
    – 20 children (3 – 6 Years old)
    – 4 Staff Members: 2 Teachers, 1 Assistant, 1 Cook
    • The Day Care has the following education activities :
    – Bible
    – English and Math
    – Personal, Social, and Health Education
    – TOT course to the teachers
  • Due to the spread of COVID-19, the Day Care was temporary closed in April, 2020.
  • The Day Care reopened again in November, 2020 including the following:
    – 2 Classes divided according to the age of the children.
    – 50 Children (3 – 6 years).
    – Staff Members: 4 teachers, 1 Assistant and 1 Cook
  • In September 2016 we start serving in Liberia, some missions with development projects ideas that started to take place:
    • Literacy (for 14 person)
    • Craft Education (training program to teach local plumbing & women how to sew)
    • Greenhouse + Prepare two lands for agriculture (Planting cucumbers inside the greenhouse & Planting squash, beans, peppers, tomatoes, and watermelons on the other two lands)
    • Water Well construction
    • Construction (2 classes for day care + A play area containing swing and slide)
    • Building Toilets (town toilets + church toilets)
    • Road Pavement: Paving the road leading to the Coptic Orthodox Church
    • Carpentry
    • Poultry Breeding: To help women to earn income.
